Called to serve in the Washington Seattle Mission July 2013-July 2015

(3 Mar. 2014)

This last week has been a really good week, on saturday, our district set up a competition to see which companionship could get the most contacts, so we went out and worked very hard, we went out and talked to every single person we saw, and the first hour we found many miracle lessons, and we talked with a lot of interesting people,  we ended the day with 229 contacts and before saturday the most I had ever gotten was 67 in a day and now 229!!! we saw many miracles from this. We now have a super solid excited to learn and believes in Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon sinse before we meet him, he just didnt know what to do,  we stopped by again on sunday morning with a member, and taught the restoration, and he has been reading in the Book of Mormon.
Miracles really do happen, hard work brings blessings 🙂 the Spirit of God burns even brighter than ever in my heart, and this truely is Christs true church on the earth, I can never deny that, for I know it is :’) there are people, friends, family that are being prepared to joy this wonderful church, we as members and missionaries need to come together and be their friends and help them and comfort them.

“let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify you Father which is in Heaven” (Matthew 5:16, also Sermon on the Mount. 3 Nephi 16)
As we follow the Savior’s example we will become like Him and others will see that and follow Him too. I encourage all of you to be “….the light of the world, a city that is set on a hill, that cannot be hid” (Matthew 5:14) be the light this world needs 🙂 may God and Christ ever be with you.

Elder Gorner is a great missionary and knows what he is talking about so thats really good. we get along really well, and he is a hard worker, we actually got called the hardest working missionaries in the mission on saturday and made the special miracle blast in the newsletter which i will send to you.

We got in a lesson with 5 people on the bus all at the same time, it started outside the bus at the stop and started talking to someone, and the people started jumping in and it continued when the bus came and when we got on the bus 🙂 so it went till we had to get off the bus. people kept jumping in and out!
We mostly ride bikes now and not the bus very much anymore 🙂 which I love!!!!!!
