(23 March 2015)

We had a great week, at church yesterday we had an new investigator come to church and he brought his friend, and less active girl friend! we pulled them all aside as well as one of our eternal investigators, and taught the restoration and put them on date for the 26th of April!!! Samoans are the BEST!! the food is good, but im actually maintaining and feel like im slimming down again, exercise and moderation in all helps ๐Ÿ™‚ went on exchanges to Seatac!!! it was so fun, we saw some investigators that where solid that came to church when i was there, but never got baptized even now ๐Ÿ˜ฆ so i got on there case, tried to see “B” for those who remember him (poligamy guy).

we set a goal this week as a district to hit 50 member present lessons and we didnt hit it but the growth that comes is what is important, in life we set goals, we make plans and we have high expectations from the Lord, Romans 3:23 we all will fall short because we are not perfect, we need to recognize what the lord has done for us and continue to repent and move forward, we may fall a little but thats to help us to grow. the gospel of Jesus Christ is essential, with out it all would stay down and never rise, but because of the atonement and thru faith, repentance and baptism by water and fire, we can be made clean, and thru steadfastness and enduring faith in the Lord with dedicated service to God and others, our trials will become blessings. “for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith”, 2 Nephi 4 is nephi’s example of this “o wretched man that i am” those experiences are meant for our benefit, be faithful in enduring with mighty prayer, but also remember to forget yourself and serve others first, put God first and you will find a renewed witness of the truth, keep the commandments and be obedient to the Lord especially in these times and i promise that eventually it will work out, our faith must be tried or we cannot grow. even nephi of old felt this way but he was faithful, i find myself this way also, for the refiners fire is meant to help us grow, but salvation is not easy so neither is conquering the natural man.

Dont tell me when I come home because once a missionary always a missionary, so my mission doesn’t end even with the plane or released, im a disciple of Jesus Christ and will be forever!
